On December 6th and 7th, 2011 the EW Asia Exhibition & Conference took place in Singapore, organized by Shepard Group in cooperation with the AOC. The EW Asia is one of the most important exhibitions with associated conference for the rapidly expanding Asian EW market.
At the exhibition attendants could visit over 20 companies presenting their products at the Congress Centre of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. During the conference titled "The criticality of the electromagnetic spectrum to the Pacific Rim" more than 30 speakers gave lectures.
On the basis of its technical presentation „Compact COMINT solutions for mobile platforms’’ PROCITEC presented its technological approach for a compact and powerful COMINT-Solution. Afterwards many visitors took the opportunity and had a look at the presented functionality by attending a live demonstration of CMAS at the exhibition booth.
Customers got a deeper insight into the PROCITEC portfolio of products for recording, analysis, automatic recognition and production of radio signals by attending demonstrations of PROCEED and WiRAS.
PROCITEC’s resume concerning the second EW Conference in the year 2011 is positive: An excellent organized fair with interested trade visitors in a strongly growing market.

Great success for cMAS, the compact radio monitoring solution for HF, VHF and UHF
On the basis of live signals PROCITEC demonstrated the motto “100.000 signals per hour automatically processed” extremely impressive and real. Conference members confirmed that “cMAS captures the spirit of the time. Especially in times of signal flow and declining support from specialists it is exactly the right kind of system approach.” The reaction of the auditorium to the accompanying lecture “Compact monitoring and analysis solutions”, held by Mr Uwe Matthies, chief technology officer of PROCITEC GmbH, showed this clearly. Another advantage of the cMAS solution, which was emphasized by many conference participants, is the scalability of this COMINT system. It can be used either ways - as a standalone workstation or integrated into existing systems.

LAAD 2011, Rio de Janeiro
Our attendance at the LAAD 2011, the biggest and most important defence technology exhibition in Latin America, was a successful step towards positioning PROCITEC as a global player. Visitors from numerous Latin American countries and delegations of all relevant Brazilian administrations gave positive response to the representational joint booth with several partners (e.g. PLATH GmbH, IZT GmbH, and others) located at the German pavillion. Especially the demonstrated narrowband solutions for radio monitoring and the compact standalone wideband workstation cMAS impressed and showed solutions designed for application in civilian and military environments, at government agencies, defence signal corps, homeland security agencies and telecommunication authorities.
